Drug & Alcohol Screening

Drug and Alcohol Screening is a required step before starting certain safety-critical railway training and roles. The screening helps confirm that delegates meet the necessary requirements before progressing with their railway training.

What to Expect

The process is quick and straightforward:

Provide a urine sample for screening.
The sample is securely sent to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for analysis.
Results are recorded against your Sentinel profile where applicable.
If you regularly take prescription or other medication, you should provide the full names of your medication so the laboratory can take this into account during testing.
