The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) is a card-based scheme to prove the skill and competency of plant operators across the UK. As the largest and most significantly recognised card scheme for the plant industry, it helps to prove the holder’s operating skills as well as his or her health and safety awareness. This category of Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) training course is aimed at persons who will be using the Telescopic Handler 360 Slew on construction sites. Formally known as category A17D, the A77 category was created by the CPCS awarding body in 2018 due to the need for candidates to have more thorough training and testing on the 360 Slew.
